Terms of Service and Privacy Notice

These terms govern your use of Timviw. By creating or continuing to use an account, you agree to them. Contact: info@timviw.com.

1. The service

Timviw provides online timeline planning, collaboration, sharing, backup and export tools. Features and limits depend on your plan. The service may be changed, maintained, suspended or discontinued when reasonably necessary.

2. Your account and content

You are responsible for accurate account information, protecting login credentials and two-factor recovery information, controlling your sharing links, and ensuring that your use and uploaded content are lawful. You retain ownership of your content and grant Timviw the limited right to host, process, copy and transmit it solely to provide and protect the service.

3. Backups and data loss

Timviw uses reasonable operational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee uninterrupted availability, permanent retention or error-free storage. You must keep independent backups of important planner data using the available Timviw backup or export tools. Timviw is not a system of record, archival service or disaster-recovery service unless a separate written agreement expressly says otherwise.

4. Security

Timviw applies reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the service. Internet transmission and storage nevertheless carry risks, including software defects, unauthorized access, credential compromise and events outside reasonable control. You must promptly report suspected account misuse. Nothing in these terms reduces obligations or rights that apply under data-protection law.

5. Availability and warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Timviw is provided on an “as available” basis without a promise that it will always be available, meet every requirement, or prevent every loss or security incident. Mandatory consumer guarantees and other rights that cannot legally be excluded remain fully applicable.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Timviw is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, loss of opportunity, or loss that could reasonably have been avoided by maintaining an independent backup. For direct loss arising from the service, aggregate contractual liability is limited to the greater of EUR 100 or the fees paid for the affected service during the preceding 12 months.

This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited, including fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or liability and compensation rights arising under applicable data-protection or consumer law.

7. Privacy notice

Timviw processes account details, authentication records, planner content, sharing information, billing details, service logs, IP addresses and security events to provide the contract, secure and improve the service, administer billing, comply with law and handle support. Legal bases may include performance of contract, legitimate interests, legal obligations and consent where required.

Data may be handled by hosting, email, payment and technical service providers acting under appropriate agreements. Data is retained while needed for the account, service, security, legal and accounting purposes, then deleted or anonymised according to applicable requirements. You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection where the law provides those rights, and may complain to your competent data-protection authority.

8. Suspension and termination

You may delete an eligible account through the profile menu. Timviw may restrict or terminate access for material breach, unlawful use, security risk or unpaid charges after appropriate notice where reasonably possible. Export important data before termination.

9. Changes

Material changes will be presented for acceptance with a new version date. Continued access may require accepting the updated terms. Changes do not remove rights already accrued under mandatory law.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by Danish law, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections available in their country of residence. Disputes may be brought before competent Danish courts, subject to mandatory consumer jurisdiction rules.
